At the end of 2017, VDC Trading invested in a 6-month SEO campaign with a view to driving more organic traffic to their website and boosting sales via the online store. We put together a comprehensive campaign beginning with significant keyword analysis and selection and competitor analysis.
This was followed by on-site works, which included a full audit of www.vdctrading.co.uk to identify and resolve any issues as well as adding meta descriptions, title tags, alt tags and other identifying factors that help the pages be found.
Due to the value Google places on fresh, relevant and original content appearing on a site, we also created a number of blogs. These can be used on the VDC site, placed externally to boost inbound links and used as part of the content promotion element of the campaign, all of which improves the level of traffic, reduces bounce rate, improves time on site, and improves the overall authority of the site
According to an external performance reporting company, the site is now scoring 100% for SEO, indicating that the on-site works have been correctly completed and implemented.
Crucially, year-on-year ‘checkout’ visits have also increased by 26%, fulfilling VDC’s key objective.
As SEO is an ongoing project, we also delivered VDC a final report stating how these improved performance levels can be maintained and further developed.
