An online shop platform for UK businesses that sell to trade and to the public.

Quotes, purchase orders and payment on invoice sit next to card checkout. The admin works like a spreadsheet. Your team changes the catalogue by asking. And you own the code, the data and the hosting.

Awe Commerce running topav.co.uk. Featured product, VAT toggle, search that understands "a display for a meeting room".

Is it for you

Built for

  • UK shops selling to trade and to the public from one catalogue
  • Roughly 100 to 20,000 products, often fed by distributor price lists
  • Buyers who order on purchase orders, ask for quotes or pay on invoice
  • Schools, councils and NHS buyers who need framework and compliance details on the page
  • Products people size, configure or compare before buying
  • Teams who want to change the shop themselves without an agency retainer

Not the right fit

  • A consumer brand with a few dozen products and no trade side. Shopify. We would build it for you.
  • A marketplace with many sellers, or subscriptions as the main model. Purpose-built platforms do this better.
  • Multi-currency and international tax from day one. Shopify Markets, unless the trade side outweighs it.
  • Under £8,000 to spend. A Shopify or WooCommerce build from us, or a UX fix on what you have.

We build on Shopify and WooCommerce too. If they fit, we say so.

What you get

Live running at TopAV today On request built into your quote if you need it
01

Catalogue

Built for lists that run to thousands of lines and buyers who scan before they click.

  • Spec chips on every listing. Key numbers (4K UHD, 10,000 lm, 86") shown on the card, so a buyer compares without opening each product. Live
  • Compare, wishlist, brand and category browsing. Standard, but built for depth: 40+ brands and nested categories without slowing down. Live
  • Search that understands intent. "A display for a meeting room" returns displays for meeting rooms, not a keyword miss. Live
  • Distributor imports. Pull products, prices and stock from supplier feeds instead of retyping them. Live
  • Inc. and ex. VAT toggle. One tap, sitewide, remembered. Trade buyers see ex. VAT, schools see inc. Live
02

Checkout and payments

Card checkout for the small order. Everything else for the large one. Same basket, same product pages.

  • Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Through Stripe. Fees go to Stripe, not to us. Live
  • Quotes. A buyer turns a basket into a quote request; you price it and they accept it into an order. Live
  • Purchase orders and payment on invoice. Business accounts can check out against a PO number with no card at all. Live
  • Delivery rules and badges. Free delivery thresholds, lead times and dispatch promises shown on the product, in the basket and in the footer, from one setting. Live
  • Price match, stated up front. Shown on the product page so buyers do not ring to ask. Live
03

Trade and public sector

The reason this platform exists. Most shops bolt a "trade enquiries" form onto a consumer store.

  • Business accounts. Company, buyers, addresses and payment terms in one account, with order history the whole team can see. Live
  • Volume pricing. Price breaks by quantity, by customer or by customer group. Live
  • Framework and compliance details on the page. CCS, NEUPC, LUPC, ISO and UK-stock statements where a public-sector buyer looks for them. Live
  • "Email me this spec and price." One tap sends a buyer the product sheet with the price, so they can put it in front of whoever signs it off. Live
04

Product page and buying tools

Everything a buyer would ring to ask, answered on the page.

  • Stock and dispatch time, live. Not "usually in stock". The number, and when it leaves. Live
  • Calculators and finders. Throw distance, room planner, screen size, and a five-question finder that recommends a kit list. Built for your products, not AV. Live
  • See it on your wall. Browser-based AR. Photograph the wall, set the scale, drag a true-to-size product into the room. No app, photo never stored. Live
  • Request a quote or call from the same panel. The buyer does not hunt for a contact page. Live
05

AI on the shop

An assistant for your customers, and one for your team. Both grounded in your catalogue.

  • A product expert on every page. Trained on the catalogue. Checks stock, volume pricing, "will it fit my room?". Every conversation lands in a Microsoft Teams channel, where your team can watch, chat live and take over at any point. Live
  • Run the shop by asking. Your team types "put all projectors up 5%" or "add this product from the manufacturer page". Changes are staged, shown as a diff, and published with one click. Everything is logged and reversible. Live
  • AI proposals. Turn a quote into a written proposal document with the right products, images and terms, ready to send. Live
06

Admin

Your team already knows Excel, so the admin works like Excel. No forms, no save buttons.

  • The whole catalogue in one grid. Click a cell, type, it saves. Sort, filter by brand or category, search within a column, hide what you do not need. Live
  • Competitor prices, tracked daily. Each watched product is checked against competitors. Red means they are cheaper, green means you are, with the gap in £ and %. Live
  • Margin, visible. Buy price next to sell price next to margin. No exporting to work it out. Live
  • Orders, customers, quotes, coupons, audit log. The modules you would expect, on the same grid, with every change logged and undoable. Live
07

Search and AI visibility

Built so Google ranks it and ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI answers quote it.

  • Structured product data. Price, availability, GTIN and reviews marked up on every product so search engines and shopping feeds read them correctly. Live
  • Clean URLs and plain-English specs. No parameters, no spec tables that only a machine can parse. Live
  • Bulk SEO edits. Fix titles and descriptions across a category by asking, not one page at a time. Live
  • Redirects from your old shop. Every existing URL mapped, so a migration does not cost rankings. Live
08

Integrations

What is connected today, and what we add when a quote needs it.

  • Stripe. Cards and wallets. Live
  • Google Shopping and Google Ads. Product feed kept in step with the catalogue; campaigns built against the same collections. Live
  • Microsoft Teams. Live chat handover from the product expert. Live
  • Distributor feeds. Supplier price lists and stock imported on a schedule. Live
  • Accounting, couriers, email marketing. Xero, Sage or QuickBooks; Royal Mail, DPD or your carrier; Mailchimp, Klaviyo or Brevo. Scoped and priced in your quote. On request

Best when
You sell to trade and the public, and want the shop to be yours.
You sell to consumers and want it fast and standard.
You already run WordPress and the shop is simple.

Shopify and WooCommerce columns describe the platforms as commonly configured with apps and plugins. Both can do more with custom development; the point is what comes built in.

Who owns it

You do. The code, the data and the hosting account are yours from day one.

The shop is deployed to a cloud account in your company's name. We hold no keys you cannot revoke, and there is no licence fee to keep it switched on. If you stop working with us, it keeps running.

  • Source code. Delivered to a repository you control.
  • Data. Products, customers and orders in a database in your account. Export it whenever you like.
  • Hosting. Your cloud account, your invoice, at cost. No markup from us.
  • Domain and DNS. Stay with you. We never register anything in our name.
  • Keys and passwords. Yours. Revoke our access in a minute if you ever need to.
  • Other developers. A standard web application. Anyone competent can take it on.

  1. 01 Send a link. To your current shop, or the products you sell. We reply with an honest view of what we would change and whether this platform is the right call.
  2. 02 Fixed quote and timeline. Agreed before we start. If the scope changes you get a new number before we carry on, not after.
  3. 03 Start at the checkout. We build the buying flow first, quotes and POs included, then the catalogue around it.
  4. 04 Working builds every week. You click through the real thing from week one, on your own data.
  5. 05 Launch, then support. Redirects, feeds and analytics in place on day one. Support and monitoring on a monthly plan if you want it.

"Two thousand products, quoting, trade accounts and the wall-sizing tool, all built by one person who understood what we sell. Enquiries come through the site now instead of over the phone."

Questions

Can we move from Shopify or WooCommerce?

Yes. We import products, customers and order history, and set up a redirect for every old URL so your Google rankings carry over. Saved card details never transfer between platforms; customers enter them again on their first order.

How do payments work?

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. Purchase orders, quotes and payment on invoice are built in rather than bolted on, and a business account can be set to invoice only.

Do you take a percentage of sales or charge a platform fee?

No. The build is a fixed price, agreed before we start. Support is an optional monthly plan. Card processing fees go to Stripe, not to us.

Who owns the shop?

You do. The source code, the data and the hosting account are all in your name from day one. There is no licence to keep paying.

What happens if Awe Creative disappears?

The shop keeps running. It is a standard web application in your own cloud account, so any competent developer can pick it up. Nothing depends on us staying in business.

Who fixes it if something breaks?

The monthly support plan covers monitoring, updates and fixes, with response times agreed in the quote. Without a plan, you can call us or any developer you choose.

Can we sell outside the UK or in other currencies?

The platform is built for UK VAT and pounds. Multi-currency and international tax can be added on request, but if that is a day-one need we will usually recommend Shopify instead.

How long does a build take?

It depends on the catalogue and the integrations. You get a fixed timeline with the fixed quote, and you see a working build every week from the first week.
